Overall experience was VERY VERY GOOD. Stunning location so close to the garden and Lamego and Peso da Regua and Peso da Regua, and the room was authentic. It was nice to have rooms with big glass windows as well as fabulous views. There was a nice pool and views of the nearby hills and mountains. Found a nice place called Hot Tomato a 10-15 minute walking distance from the apartment, had lunch and dinner there.

The friendly owners welcomed us with fresh cherries from their own tree and gave us useful ideas to explore the area. The view from the accommodation was breathtaking, with a relaxing pool to enjoy. The breakfast delivered to our door was diverse and delicious.
Finding the driveway using Google Maps was a bit tricky, as it led us to a car mechanic/garage instead of the hotel. There were not many shops or restaurants nearby, limiting our options.
